Even though some of the pools at Zen Villas are larger than a plunge pool, they wouldn't really be big enough for swimming laps. My hubby compares swimming laps in our pool at home to jogging around the lounge room, and it's bigger than any pools at Zen. You asked in your earlier post about the Griya Santrian, that pool would be a lot more suitable for swimming laps.
If you are going over the hotter months something to consider is that the temperature of the water is pretty high and you don't swim far before it feels like you are swimming in the cooking pot. When we stayed at the Kumala Pantai in March a couple of years ago hubby had every intention of taking advantage of the huge pool there but could never manage much more than a few because of the temperature.
