Whilst on holiday in Melbourne I brought a box of 3 heat packs for $100 at the Queen Vic.markets from a chinese lady. There was a neck pack, a back pack and a pocket pack. To activate was just popping the metal button inside each pack and they heated up, and stayed hot longer than any wheatbag I've owned. To re-energise them after use required boiling them in water till they went clear, (about 10 minutes). This gave me a double dose as I used them again with the residual heat from the boiling water without having to pop the button. They say you get over 100 pops before they don't work. My son also brought some in Perth so they are readily available, and they would fit inside your handbag.
