after going all the way to Matahari in Denpasar, found it at Supernova LOL.
We went to Cat and Fiddle last night - I can't tell you what a great place it is. I wouldn't normally eat western food in Bali, but sucumbed(sp) when I saw the menu (I was born and bred in the UK). We sat with Smudge, Made and Komang (munchkin)and had yet another brilliant night. The live music - an Irish band with Balinese musicians - were a dream, but even better when the British Consul and others joined in - I hadn't had a singsong like that since I was a kid. Didn't want to leave, but our 12yo was sooo tired. THank goodness we're staying in Sanur in June so that we can frequent this place some more. I liked the feel of Sanur - we hadn't been there before as we usually stay in Legian.
We went to the Foo-Kin Inn yesterday and today and met Rick. What a lovely young man he is. It's so quiet at the moment, especially with all the roadworks - hopefully things will pick up.
Komang Bajing took us out and about today - but I think he had an ulterior motive and wants to beat me at Yahtzee LOL!!! Best get back to our room so that I can thrash him big time!
Just wanted to quickly mention we always get our washing done at Pelangi Laundry just behind the Padma Hotel - they're lovely and do a great job for such a cheap price. My husband also got 3 business shirts made for 125,000RP each and they fit like a dream.
