in anticipation of this happening!!

Basically, there is NO "man who owns Air Paradise"!! In the "latest of many" re-launch Media Releases, it would appear that the Sri Lankan Investor (who was to come-up with bulk of capital required) has a case of "cold feet" - possibly because he has come to terms with the FULL amount of debt outstanding from the collapse of API,as his Investment in API2 will now be minimal, with Chairman of API Kadek Wiranatha holding a maximum 20% stake in the proposed API2.

If flights to ANYWHERE were to be resuming in March, then Routes and Schedules together with Pre-Launch-Fares would have been announced for pre-booking and infrastructure set in place at Airports to which API2 would be flying. This is simply NOT happening which can lead to only one conclusion - that re-establishment capital has not been found (even though they say there is a fool born every minute).

With the proliferation of Low Cost Airlines operating now on Indonesia's main Trunk Routes, it would be a VERY brave person who would undertake the huge investment necessary for ANY new player to commence here. There would be many hurdles to overcome if planning to return to the Australian Marker - mainly a compensation package for Wholesalers, Retailers and Travelling Public, whose fingers were so seriously-burned by the collapse of API just weeks after Bomb2; this short time-frame clearly indicated that the Airline had been operating with virtually no back-up capital, which begs the question - just where did the clients' money go??
