I read your post about going to the orphanage for disabled children and I will be staying in Ubud for a few days early March. I have already got some children's clothes to take but would like to buy more 'stuff' to donate (rather than give cash). I also have a very large stroller (that holds up to 50kg, it is one my daughter had before going into a wheelchair) - I'm wondering about taking it.
I have a pair of Canadian crutches (child size) do you think there would be a need for these?
Would your driver, Gusti Yodya, come to the market with me before going and help me buy some food or maybe blankets or towels?
Or can you suggest anything I can buy here (Queensland) to donate?
