Just happened to be passing today down the little street between Kumala Pantai and Double 6, and there was a new hotel opening. Popped in to find out more and what a surprise.
Its being managed by Mades Warung, I think Peter is the owner of Mades and he was there to show me the place. Its absolutely delightful.
There are 4 2 bedroom apartments and 8 1 bedroom apartments. All rooms have an outside livng/tv area and kitchenette, fully equipped with stove top, fridge toaster etc.
The 2 bedroom apartments are bedrooms upstairs, one room with a queen and the other room with twin beds, great for a family, and downstairs is a dining area and kitchenette AND a tv room!!! The best part is the tv room is fully airconditioned so you can watch tv with the family in comfort and I have to say Room 9 is the winner for me as its right beside the pool and really nicely decked out. The prices are extremely reasonable, $50u.s for the 1 bed, and $100u.s. for the 2 bed apartments. Do yourself a favour and have a look at the website, madeswarung.com and click on Puri Damai.
Apart from that not much else news, its sooooo hot over here, but then again, its always hot hey!!!!!
