No Kuta type taxis in Amed, but always drivers looking for work. Make sure you book a reliable driver, with a reliable vehicle, well in advance of your journey. You can either go on the coast road to Candi Dasa, past Selang and Ujung, very scenic and undulating. Or the inland road past Tirtagangga and the beautiful rice terrace and mountain scenery.
