we're only there for 5 nights and will be out most days sightseeing as my eldest daughter hasn't been to Bali before.

You know how it goes - you scroll thru every hotel/motel/dump and palace til you make your mind up. Then you book. (and pay half as I have) Then the doubts set in!!

They sound really nice over the email though and no matter what, I'll be ON the beach this time because I wake up very early in Bali and I'd be very happy to grab a coffee and just sit on the beach til a more civilized hour arrives.
