Hi Anna, Stayed at the Bali Rani last year in September with 6 other ladies had a great time. I believe this is more for the couples and groups rather than the family types, then the year before stayed at the Bali Hai with my family husband two girls 8 & 5 then. As balee said there seems to be alot of families that stay here however not noisy or disruptive with the kids. I found if anything there where more people who stayed at the Bali Hai families or couples and all had a good time there where always a lot people to talk to.

To the question of walking at night time, if walking by yourself then I would suggest a bemo back to the hotel however if in a pair or group shouldn't have any hassles. There are lights on the main drag however, walking up the street to the hotel it does get a bit darker. However, the other day I was asked would you walk through Northbridge in Perth at night time and I said I would feel safer walking in Bali.

Sorry a bit long winded answer hope it helps we are going again on 21st of March for 10nights and 11 days, can't wait staying at the Bali Hai.

Cheers Sharon
