We just returned from Bali after 8 days at Santika Beach Hotel. While there we made contact with Adopt a Co-Op, a group of widows from the first Bali bombings. They have established a business which includes dressmaking and printing. We had 1000 business cards printed on glossy board, printing both sides for the cost of Rp400,000. The result was excellent and they came to our hotel on two occasions regarding the cards, first to show us their range and the second to get us to check the proof. We went to their factory in Denpasar on Friday last to collect.
They also made two items of dressmaking, one a pair of slacks, the other a skirt. We had previously purchased material from Komplex Istana Kuta Galleria, Block Entrance 1, Jl Patih Jelantik where there are three floors of material available.
The dressmakers had copies of both items and reproduced them perfectly. Much better than any other dressmaking we have had done in Bali previously and we have been to Bali many times. The cost for both items was only Rp90,000!!!!! Amazing.
If you would like to support the Bali widows and we strongly recommend them to you there details are as follows;
