If you stay in the same hotels and talk to the same people you will never realise what a lovely place this really is. I live in Sanur and from time to time take tourists to some of my favourite places. The first impression is "why didn't someone tell me this earlier?"
If you do not move around you will never know where to shop or what the REAL price of things are here.
For example I retired here when I was 45. (I am now 53)but if I stayed in the same hotel and talked to the same people I would never have realised that I could have done this.
Please move around and talk to everyone you meet.
If you are really unlucky, one of those people may be me.
