After trying to refresh my memory, here goes jbr 5. have now found the name of restaurant in Seminyak, the name is Lesoeng Padi wekadara st, Seminyak.Is only small restaurant, but the food so yummy and very very cheap, they also do take aways, as there are so many villa's around that area.
After 7 days in Tuban area, we were ready for our move to Sanurrr ( we usually go for 1 month and move to maybe 2-3 hotels) feel doing this is like a nother holiday.
Jimmy picked us up, and off we go to sanurrr Oh what a lovely feeling as we drive through Sanurrr ( home again) much slower pace here just love it.
Arrive at the Respati, and yeh! we have got our favourite room once again 101 in the new block, staff all say "welcome home" really nice staff. Room 101 is great, as we leave curtains open and can see the sun come up in the morning, only small hotel, but spotlessly clean good food and now have a pool table (hubby enjoys).
Quickly unpack and off down the beach to see "our massage girls" Ketut and Noma, they have massage beds under the tree's next to Beno's restaurant. Have known all the girls there for years and take them clothes, and clothes our grandchildren have grown out of.Yet another great massage.
Down the markets , see if anything new tootsies and others.
Lunch at Beno's catch up with all the staff, then explore further down, new restaurant next to Mango's now open called Beach cafe, very nice, good fast internet and cheap (tried the food later) The Spirit restaurant opened another restarant nearer the beach, we love the iced coffeee's, and aso the Aussie pies ( when we in Bali so long is nice to have a bit of good old aussie food.

On the way back ,call see "charlie Brown" usually refils my lighters, and i purchase more and few necklaces, next stop Shrek, see if he as DVD"s we have not already purchased in Kuta.Usually get our latest movies from the shop down from the Stadium (girls all know us well and never sell us copies that are not good ones) we also find "Jimmy Gorgous" in Padma st very good.then call at the K shop stock up on "nibbles" they also have nice rolls and food whenever we feel like a snack.
quick swim,a little read of our books! and then shower and off to dinner with Karry , catch up on family news and good food .
Day 2 we get text fom Jimmy his baby Jovita in hospital!apparently got a kinda gastro and on a drip,will let us know how she is later. Give my fried Manik a call she as salon near the Trophy bar, make appointment for highlights, cut & blow dry ( so cheap) and hubby haircut. Have been going to her salon for some years now , and we have become good friends with Manick and husband.
Day 2 and hubby feeling a little bali belly (or was it all the bintangs last night? Manick ring and say i pick you up (so not get my first ride in a Bemo ( green bus) as our balinese friends call them)some 3 hours later Manick drops me back to hotel and hubby reading his book hmmm .so took myself off to catch up with Betry at the Gazebo hotel (we stayed there for years, quick fix on the internet there and a look around hotel, could not see the pool had been renovated have renovated some rooms , and the bakery looks inviting on the main st.
Was tuesday and "cat & fiddle night" (hubby feeling much better) caught up with Mark ( he was born same town as i in Yorkshire)also Tina his partner, was full house! and Bagus our friend wife Ayu and son arrived.good food, lots of bintangs lots of laughs.
day 3
Decided to go to Karry's clothes shop, opposite Hardys, (have lovely clothes Karry designs) and good price, her daughter in law Ayu works in the shop and daughter Putu , now almost 2 yrs old, we have watched her grow from new born.whilst there Karry popped in to show me all her new designs, and then she took us to see Kadak her son who as recently pened a new restaurant "Coriander" just down the st from Hardys , same side of the road , opposite Peneeda View hotel.
Very nice too, had a great lunch, and met a nice couple from Copenhagan, we promised to meet up there for dinner on the Sat night, as they have 2 guys playing guitar.
Put our order in for "stuffed Chicken wings" for the Saturday as Bagus the chef is great cook. He is also chef at Beno's alternate nights.
Don't think we had any calamitys at sanurrr ( will have to refresh memory)
