Yes the hotel is quite big...it was a fair walk from our room in the east wing to the reception area... however if they place you in the south wing..its a long walk to either resturant for brekky...the resturant near the beach is best for breakfast... the hotel is really spread out with lovely gardens... :)

You can walk to a cheap resturant along the beach path (heading south) where you can get meals for half or even less of the price of meals in the hotel itself.

A nasi goreng (fried rice) in the hotel is 50,000 ..however at other resturants it might only be 20,000 rupiah and just as yummy.

Ice cream we once ordered (hagen daaz) on the room service menu it was like 60,000 for a tiny little tub... on the street is way cheaper...

Do a search in the archives for NUSADUA DANNY... he did a great report of resturant reviews in Nusa Dua.... some resturants will even pick you up at the hotel and drop you home for free... all you need to do is call...or the hotel operator will do that for you :)

I think the kids, will enjoy it... riding, swimming in the pools (safe beach as well) boogie boarding...and feeding the fish...grab a bread roll from breakfast and feed the fish in the ponds... it was great fun :)
