I am almost 20 weeks pregnant and will be heading to Bali in 10 days, along with my husband and toddler. I have been a bit worried too about Dengue Fever,Bali belly etc, but have just gone with the motto 'be prepared' (& sensible!) My main concern was finding an insect repellent that I can use whilst pregnant and from trawling the net I have found the perfect one but it's only available in the US, ARgghh!! The only other alternative I found was 'Scatterbugs', but not 100% sure if the 'lemon oil of eucalyptus' component is safe during pregnancy. Still, it's a far safer option than anything with DEET, and research shows, almost as effective!! As far as eating etc, I'm just going to apply the same 'rules' as I do in Oz and all should be cool!
