Just back from Bali a couple of weeks ago... we stayed at the Oasis...(only USD $ 38 for a standard room).. and as we had a car, we drove along Jalan Pratama and took a walk along the Benoa beach too.... if the hotel u choose is a beachfront property, then they usually have representatives from the watersports places nearby strategically placed at your beach site. Otherwise, there are several watersports places along the beach... take your pick! As for restos, there are loads to choose from along the main road... Bumbu Bali and Tao are popular... but there are others too. Ramada is not beachfront... you would have to walk out of the hotel...cross the main road and head towards Tao resto where their part of the beach is. Not too sure about Westin or Melia though... sorry... I can vouch for Oasis though! We had a good time at this quaint little boutique hotel... it is 3.5 star though.

Hope this helps.

Nina
