Yeah, CAFE BOSSAI should be up there for a relaxed beachfront place,
I too have no recollection of prices, but cheap cheap with Aussie for sure, here are some others of my personal favs....
Cafe Jepun, near the "roundabout", (which is not really a roundabout in the vehicular sense, near Jl. Kusamasari/Puri Gopa Hotel.
mix Asian and Western styles. Same staff 15 + years (good boss)
Masimo (sp) Italian, a few doors North, great Italian, looks exie but not, carafe wine is good too, and not overpriced.
Gateway to India, opposite side road, great Indian.
Lumut, nice atmosphere, service little slow, but wort waiting for
up opp Peneeeda View Hotel.
Six Point, up at the bend on Jl Segara, (Segara Village/Puri Kelapa Hotels) a newie, again looks ritzy but not so and great coffee.
There are heaps more, and if you only want to budget AUD$5.00 per person give WARUNG IBU CHANTIC a go at Shindu Market (not the beach markets) for superb Nasi Goring or Chap Chay.
Enjoy Sanur...
