Afraid i skipped a few things whil'st staying in Tuban first 7 days. We visited a long time friend, Nyoman , who works at the Bali Bagia, who was in hospital in Tabanan, as been sick for some time, diabetes, kidney and liver problems.
Our friend Jimmy took us up to Tabanan to visit him, Oh dear he is quite sick, was so pleased to see us, his wife Wayan too, we gave wayan money, as he as been in hospital for some time, and doing it hard. believe many fiends have also been kind and given money.Was quite surprised as the hospital was quite nice(after visiting a rellie in Suva Fiji) some years ago, that was gross.
We came out of the hospital feeling very sad, as he was the first balinese fiend we made some ten years ago, his son and our grandson been good friends in that time.
We continued on to Denpasar, (Ketut & daughter Jovita) also and did a bit of shopping, usual Ramayana, Mattahari, etc, prefer Mattaharis in denpasar.Then to Ketut's cousin's restaurant, is near "eat st"seminyak, (oh did have a card and address) will post later when i find the card. as it is such yummy food and so cheap.
The following day our friends Jimmy & Ketut pick us up and take us to there house in Jimbaran bay, for dinner and what a great dinner, crab corn soup followed with deep fried chicken , chips and salad & banana fritters. We kinda look on jimmy & Ketut as extended family, and after 12 yrs of marriage they finally got a daughter (Jovita) now 10 months old so we are nanik pauline & kekak phil(prob not spelt right) but oh! shes gorgeous and we spoil her rotten , we are so happy for them to finally have a child.
Whil'st in kuta did our usual visit to Animaile in jalan kuta raya just love there unusual clothes and prices too (always Ketut and i go andi always buy her something
nice, despite her protesting.
