The first time i went to Bali i got severe bali belly and ended up on a drip in an international travelers clinic, the best thing we did was contact the doctor, as the clinic was clean, with Drs and nurses showing needles in thier steralised packages before injecting me and putting in the drip. But the next time i went i took a whole pharmacy with me!
I recommend:
-Imodium, however if you do not need to leave your hotel, don't take it, as going to the toilet is your body's way of getting rid of the bug
-Buscopan, helpful for stomach and bowel cramps
-Phernergan, use for nausea, it can calm the digestive system, however it can cause drowsiness
I also take Inner Health plus, good bacteria for your digestive system, everyday while i'm away.
I know it sounds a lot, but i don't want to head back to hospital, however clean and friendly the staff were.
Good Luck!
