Has anyone heard of drowning

Had a friend call me said a friend of theirs came back from Bali last week and mentioned a Drowning at the Bounty Hotel. It sounds not for real as would be on the news. dont know is this is just a rumour that has got out of hand, as it happended in middle of day young Aussie bloke found in bottom of pool. Just dont understand how this could happen as there are always staff around etc. Seems a bit far fetched to me???
