interested.... the problem that is developing is that people see a price that is not acheivable on these websites. They then persue that price through every possible avenue to find that it was a teaser price. This is becoming a growing problem in the Industry as everyone actaully loses not wins. Hopes are dashed.
The client wastes heaps of times with hopes up that they will get that certain property and then can't. The Hotels don't want an epedemic of low pricing going around as this hurts not helps.
I'm not going to quote all the Hotels I've heard back who have no agreements and won't unload as I simply don't have the time.... Some are involved with these web based outfits some aren't and are none to happy being catalogued on these sites with no premission being given and no agreements in place. Makes the website look very well stocked and slick but is quite deceptive at times.
These hotels have "Industry Partners" and agreements in place that do work. I check and double check and advise consumers to do the same. Email the hotels yourself and ask if they would endorse booking on which ever particualr site that is offering the deal. The horses mouth will always be better regarded then what I'm posting or anyone else here. I'd check if it were me. I get to hear when it din't work out so well.
