Business class has just become available again from Perth. Their new planes have finally been reconfigured, only took them 12 months to do this. If there are any business class seats available on your flight you can upgrade, pay the upgrade plus a reissue fee, around $100 to Garuda and you would have to check with your travel agent or wholesaler if they will charge any reissue fee. It usually depends on whether or not the wholesaler has actually issued the ticket, ask you TA. If you really want to upgrade don't be put off by TA or wholsaler saying it can't be done. I would ring Garuda and check if there are any B/C available (there are only 12 seats now - were 16)on the date you are flying, or either side and then see your T/A. The change in planes has not been advertised as yet, most of us are finding it out by accident and then following it up. That is what I did and am now flying B/C. I did the same thing just before Christmas. Extra B/C flights were put on between Dec and beginning Jan. Food then was "trolley" food, same as economy, but great service. I do like my champagne as soon as my b... hits the seat. I hope this has helped. Cheers, Stormy
