Yep. the Clay Oven is a damn good restaurant and recently won a major award.The owner an Indian guy named Sunni along with his wife Sulis, previously operated this restaurant on the beach under the name Cafe Bombay.
However in a business deal that happens here on a regular basis. The day Clay Oven won this award, the owner of the premises evicted Sunni and started his own Indian restaurant on the same spot (he assumed he would cash in on the advertising). This was despite an agreement drawn up by a notaris. This 'false' Indian restaurant lasted 3 weeks before closing
The Clay Pot is still operating next door to its previous location and has wonderful food. It still is excellent.
