Unless that price includes things such as water sports, meals at top end restaurants, waterbom park etc, then it's probably too high.

I considered the possibility that you had been quoted 4 million "rupees" (meaning you might have been from India and quoted in your own currency), but that doesn't work out either. The currency of Indonesia is rupiah, not rupees.

Then again...

800,000 - 2 full days vehicle hire
600,000 - 2 half days vehicle hire
1,800,000 - 4 days x lunch x 9 people
500,000 - 4 days x entry fees x 9 people

That totals Rp3.7Million - so the 4M quote might actually go close-ish to the mark.

I've made a few assumptions in those figures.
- assumed the transport would be at top end of the scale for a small bus/large van
- assumed that you meant 7 adults plus 2 children
- assumed that lunch/drinks would be an average of Rp50,000 per person per day
- assumed approx Rp5,000 entry fee per site, 3 sites per day trip - this is assuming you're visiting temples and the like.

These assumed figures are on the high side though and probably wouldn't cost that much. Personally I'd rather pay the driver for the transport only and then organise our own lunches at places we like the look of, pay entry fees when we arrive etc. It probably ends up costing similar, but that way if you arrive at a restaurant and you don't like the look of it, you go somewhere else that does suit.
