depending on were you live in australia.. hear in perth we have the european house borer bug a new pest that eats thru pine and various wood items.. get it checked asap it can spread thru all your furniture... see if there are any exit holes? round or circular?..hope this helps ....check with your local council for any recent activity in your are....
