We are planning to have a commitment ceremony in bali but surfing the net, it seems the cost is a bit more than we expected. Since we don't need any legal processing of documents or even a priest for the ceremony (anyone will do basically), don't know why everywhere is quoting pretty steep prices... We will be staying in a villa, so the venue should be taken care of. What we need is:
1) floral decorations
2) celebrant
3) hairdo and makeup
4) photographer
5) a small orchestra and/or choir
6) bouquet
we are not going to have any guests, so no need for reception or anything. looking at a budget of usd 1000.00 net. is that too little for what we are looking for? anyone who's done commitment ceremony in bali could give some info on costs and whom they used?
