The staff at Puri Raja are really nice and like to get to know you. The Hotel itself more intimate. The pool area is hot and is smallish but then there are less people than Kumala around the pool and there is a second pool. The mainpoolhas a swim up bar. The rooms at Puri Raja are smaller, newer but not really well designed. Food and drink prices around the pool are more expensive than Kumala. There is far more happening on the beachfront outside the Kumala and lots of Restaurant choice. I like both. Try something different and stay at Puri Raja or spend half your time at each!
