Just spoke to Customs re checking in of duty free purchased prior to check in.
Apparently the airline will be taking the dockets from you at time of checkin. So that would mean that i now have to go to the counter produce my pre-purchased duty free for them to remove the docket then proceed to unpack my case to fit in the duty free in suitable packing to avoid breakages due to "Airline handling" of my cases. Gee hope no one is in a hurry...
I understand re the security measure but the control of duty free does not seem to have been thought through fully.
