consider the increasing security restrictions as necessary and feel safer flying with the implementation but I'm starting to feel that this sort of stuff is evolving into pure harrassment of air travellers. It seems to me that the govt's terrorist identifier has shifted from a "man of Middle Eastern appearance" to someone who travels by air. Since when did buying an airline ticket become an act of terrorism and are these restrictions applied to those who travel by other means? And, while the press release made a point of emphasising that these restrictions are in line with Canada, USA, UK and the EU, I'm not sure that I saw Indonesia mentioned. So, would an Indonesian travelling to Australia be restricted in the same way and will it apply both ways for Australian travellers?
And how many of these bloody plastic bags are we allowed? My God this really sh*its me!!
