We always stay in Seminyak villas........so here is some info........
I have stayed at the smaller villa at Villa 8 and it was absolutely lovely. Location on Jl Drupadi is a short walk to Eat St, so you are spoilt for choice for dining. So location is great, no need for taxis, just wander down the road and you are right there. Is a bit of a walk to the beach - their website pic of the beach front is definitely NOT a pic of these villas, it would take about a 20 minute walk to the beach, so stick to the pool. Staff are lovely too. My friends stayed in the largest royal 4 bedroom villa last year and they loved it. They had a bbq arranged by the villa and had a great dinner.
Another option to consider is SIENNA VILLAS. They have a large 4 bedroom, 2,000 sqm large villa (is actually 4 separate bungalows in your own walled area with 2 pools) and we have checked these out and this one looks amazing. It is a few doors north of the Bintang supermarket, so location is right amongst the shopping area, down a small laneway and is surprisingly quiet. Definitley recommmend Sienna, check if they are available through their website.
Either of these villas are sensational and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
Good luck!
