Of new scam, happened in the Kuta area, was told by our balinese friend, to be very careful, of so called "plain clothed police, stopping people walking down st, asking for there identity, searched there bags and wanted to see passports (the people obviously a bit nieve?) or maybe newbys to bali, then they stole there purse !.
I know most people would be a bit suss! or st wise, but thought maybe should just be alert to this.
Otherwise bali still as good as ever, very hot our first real rain this morn, in the 3 wks been here.
Quite a few aussie's around, near the KP, more than in Sanur, as mostly europeans.
