Yes, we stayed down the back, on the ground floor because the rooms have a pebbled outdoor area with a spa bath. However we only used the area once in the 2 weeks. Nice and quiet as we had the end room. We usally met with frends for happy hour somewhere. My husband would like to stay somewhere different this year because of the lack of outdoor area directly from the room. The room was clean and nice. We had a rollaway bed in our room for our son so it did make things a little crammed. They did offer us a larger room upstairs but we chose downstairs because of the pretty spa area that we looked out on and used for drying swim wear......
