You must be very disappointed at not getting to Bali. Hopefully when you do eventually get there you will have a wonderful time :-)
We are flying with Jetstar soon so have been checking out passenger rights and reading up on the Warsaw Convention.
Anyway... basically their terms and conditions are as follows for bad weather.
***Changes due to circumstances beyond our control
Where a delay or cancellation is caused by circumstances beyond our control, whether you have checked in or not, Jetstar will try to assist you to get to your destination, but will not be responsible for paying any costs or expenses you may incur as a result of the delay or cancellation, unless otherwise required by law.***
Did you think about going to a nearby hotel and claiming it back back off your travel insurance as an unforeseen delay?.
Hope it's stopped raining up there... send it down to Melbourne.
Cheers Geri
