i have found that, apart from flying with Jetstar and putting up with their delays, Singapore is still the most attractive. I have quotes and quotes via Perth and Darwin, but still the same price if not more and like you said, I can break up the journey on the way home for a couple of days. Will post JBR on my return in late March.
