We have only booked a 1 bed apartment because I know we will only be there to sleep and shower. My kids are early risers no matter how tired they are and any of time at the hotel will be spent at the pool area, we wont get them to leave. So therefore space in the apartment/rooms wont be a biggy more so the location and as long as they arent too tired looking.
