We have been at every possible time of the year and there really isn't that much difference temperature wise. It does rain more in summer but not enough to put any one off. The rain showers are usually quick and over with in a few minutes.
Others my disagree with me but I'd say go and don't worry about it. We have never considered time of the year when booking a trip.
