when I went looking for the rate for excess luggage out of Denpasar. All of their overseas destinations were listed with the exception of Bali. Not that I have had any problems in the past with excess luggage but I have heard plenty of stories from those who have and I wanted to print out the correct information - just in case. So I sent off my letter to the GPO in Melbourne - I'd say about 4 - 6 weeks ago. I haven't heard a thing but at least what I requested has now been put onto their site.

I too thought it very strange that they do not accept email enquiries. Probably an email is so quick and easy whereas a letter takes a bit more effort which they hope will deter people.

A friend recently flew Jetstar to Phuket. I asked her what she thought and she said OK and would fly with them again. The headsets worked, food was good. She had paid for all the extras and said that took up a bit of time handing out prepaid meals and then going back and taking orders from those who hadn't. Service a bit slow going over but the staff on the return were much more organised and handled it a lot quicker. Upon checking in at Phuket Airport though there was a 'problem' with her ticket - it showed that she hadn't paid for it. "No problem" said the check in staff- it is happening to about 20 passengers per flight - a glitch in our system. Haven't heard of this one yet on the Bali flights. Things can only get better - can't they? I noticed they are still showing their on time performance figures for October - with all these delays I wonder how low the December figure will go.
