There are a number of P.A.D.I. certified places here. There are also a number that proclaim to be certified but are not. Remind your son that cheap is not always good when it comes to something that has an element of risk. There was a very strong local rumour circulating just before Christmas about two Chech divers who were lost by a dive company from Nusa Penida.
