We are going again in June. Usually do Garuda out of Auckland via Brisbane but this has been suspended until March. I am not that sure the service will ever come back, so I have booked Garuda from Sydney (flying Lan Airlines AK to Sydney and connecting there). We can only fly Jetstar out of Christchurch and getting there was as expensive as getting to Sydney. Also I need!~!! to travel Business Class and Jetstar don't fly a BC out of NZ.
Only other ways are via Singapore or KL, and both were way too expensive.
