We just spent two weeks in Bali with our 3 children and we all had a great time and can't wait to go again. We get the same comments every time we go, why would you want to go there? I've learnt to ignore the comments. We felt safe at all times and wouldn't hesitate going again. I could get hit by bus tomorrow. Have a great time.
