They prefer $2.00 coins, these are collected and passed onto someone working at the departure lounge at the airport who then resells them to Australians to take back to Australia. The bracelets are made out of some other metal and you will most probably have to pay the coins plus Rupiah to get what you are after. It is a scam by saying that the bracelets are made of the coins but not really a scam as you still get a bracelet. If you buy the money back at the airport it's handy for lunches!!
