I left Kuta/Legian on boxing day and we have hardly had any rain since I arrived on the 7th December so I am unsure where the "lots of rain" comes from. When it did rain it was generally overnight and very lottle of that. The weather is exceedingly hot, the locals are even complaining of the heat, I have never experienced it so hot in Bali before. Currently in Ubud and it is overcast and rained overnight, much cooler here but hotter than normal.
