Hi all, Happy New year, sorry I have not written the promised JBR, and although I have been back now for two or is it three, weeks, I have been flat out...getting ready to go again. Made a quick day trip to Indonesian Consulate in melbourne, bus leaving 3 a.m. arriving Spencer St 9.30, straight to Consulate, had six month social cultural visa whacked in, quick shopping, met my daughter for lunch, then back on train and bus to NSW. As we all say, the things we do to get back.
So....I will leave JBR or a report to do when I am there. Will travel Sydney to K.L. Malaysian Air arriving 3.50 a.m. then six hour wait in KL then on to Denpasar arriving about 1 p.m. New years Eve.
Hope to spend part of it with Shauna and Jordy and then ....a new chapter in my life begins again. I still have the broken rib and torn lat muscle from my sepeda motor accident to go back with, with the addition of a burnt bum and back of my legs as yesterday I thought I looked like a Whiteskin buleh, so decided to top up and feel asleep in the sun!
My daughter's fiancee is improving all the time and I will do the night bus run again and visit. She is finding it very hard to settle back in Melbourne and misses him naturally. They have rented a nice open place in Malang near the hospital and she helped him settle in and as he is an artist, he will be able to work from home. Sad thing was she bought him a DVD player recorder so he could have music etc and the day she left for Australia and while he was in bathroom, someone came in and stole it, nothing else, just minutes after she left. After the op. costs, that was quite a purchase for her, but it could have been worse.
Okay guys, I am off now to do serious packing, unfortunately Rex the
local regional airline I have to use to get to Sydney only allows 15kg, so as I want to take my helmet and boxing gear, plus linen etc, I have a bit of sorting out to do.
