Its been quite widely promoted no boards over 6 ft. I agree that is why surfers should stay with garuda. And the being included in your luggage wait is a bit of an issue, especially when you load up the boards on the way home. Garuda have no size limit and the weight is not counted, you are allowed up to 20kgs in sporting equipment.
