hardship but I refuse to accept that impoverished people are inherently fraudulent people. I do know that by accepting dishonesty as inevitable we are helping to reinforce the culture of corruption and making it difficult for honest people to remain uncorrupted and still in business. And in a culture of corruption everyone pays though, as I think you were suggesting, not all can afford it. And, while I'm not quite sure where this fits into this discussion, I do try to be thankful for my blessings and not just at Christmas either. I dont however, assume that I am more blessed or have more to be thankful for than an Indonesian person might. I'm sure that most Indonesians believe themselves to be far richer than me.
