Hools regarding Kumala Pantai

Hi Hools & all, I got a quote from Bali Discovery for rooms in May and they quoted the 42USD per night including breakfast.
I have asked them to book the rooms and I have cancelled my booking with Desi at the hotel as her rate was more expensive by $168.00 Australian overall, I saved my friends who will be there in June for 14 nights $84 Australian dollars.
Now could you tell me please when do we pay for the accomadation with Bali Discovery? Did you pay with credit card or over the phone?
I've never done this before. I have always booked through Desi.
I don't understand why who quote was more expensive than Bali Discovery. Is anyone able to explain it to me. I would of thought the hotel would give you the best rate.
