Dont know if you have ever seen them before, but someone from the forum took them. They have to be the most amazing photos ever! We all have beautiful photos of sunsets etc, but these just capture the real Bali.
I have a favourite photo of my own that i have on the wall. On a cycle tour thru Ubud, we called into a village where we were allowed to look thru a home (if thats what you can call it)I took a photo of this elderly lady, so very wrinkled and tired but smiling anyway.Every single one of her teeth were black, not brown, black. and her gums bleeding baddly, her shirt stained with blood from her gums.
Everyone who comes to my home makes remarks on the photo.
The amazing thing the photo captures is A.the way and place she lives and B.how she must be in incredible agony BUT still continues to smile.
Needless to say i gave her s**t loads of money and rode away crying.
