I have taken all my kids to bali several times...(they are now 16/8/3) not once have they been sick - and yes they drink pool water when they are little. But its more the tap water to worry about - but just ensure you have lots of bottle water in your bathrooms and they never make the mistake.
My now miss 3 was 15 months old at her last trip (we fly back on 23/12) and she had a ball - she loved bali then.
