Hi Pauline
It isn't common knowledge but Bloodyron is on a retainer from the Bir Bintang Company to sample test it's beverages "at the coal face" so to speak, to make sure that local distributors onselling the product to the punters keep up a high standard.
Things such as temperature, presentation and price are closely monitored by Ron. It's a tough job, as Ron says, but someone has to do it. You only have to read the above posting to understand just how tough it can get, particularly if he has a busy day at the office, I know how exhausted it leaves him next day. Others would probably chuck a sickie, buy not our Ron, he just ploughs right back into it.
So the next time you are wandering about the streets of Sanur and partake in an icy cold glass of the amber fluid, spare a thought for guys like Ron, for without their diligence and care of duty, beer standards in Bali may well plummet.
Thanks Ron
