Hi

We got back 2 weeks ago after a month of shopping for our new home er are building and bought heaps of stuff :-)

we got the lead & brass light morroccan lights (+matching wall lights and mirrors for the bathroom) and will get them rewired, I think the talest one stands at a meter hight and was just over $100 absolutly stunning .

We also bought all our taps and sinks for the kitchen we have the chef thingy with a thing like a sprinkler on a chrome spring lol cost us $150 and iv seen them on the net here for around the $1000 mark. Also got the lovely round beveled glass waterfall one for our upstares bath :-) $50 in Bali $300 here. The chrome tall taps for the vanities were $35 AU @ and between $2-300 here, so we have saved heaps ...

Ohhh also we bought the chrome plug hole thingies, you just click them with your finger or foot to make them open and close $6 AU and over $20 here in AU, that way you can easily get a reducer fo fit the pipes together if there are any problems :-) (hubby works with a plumber)

I didnt see too many internal door handles that were different from home so didnt bother, but there are lots of the front door flashy ones.

We bought the sinks too I wanted the round onyx $ 60 AU but hubby got his way and we have 2 stone bolders for our ensuit hmmmm $60 AU there growing on me but im still gonna call it the flintstone bathroom hehe . The bathroom downstares got a resin sink $35 AU its blue with the sand shells and sea horses in it, we also got the tap for there its a dolphin diving into the sink for the spout lol very cute :-)

We bought timber for the floors, carved posts to hold up the mezzanine floor all from coconut timber :-)

And lots of furniture, I finaly got my carved 4 post bed :-)2.4 mill Rp (king size) And 2 pillow top mattresses Q 1.4 million Rp @, darn cheap I payed $1500 for the same thing here last year I was Grrrrrrrr cranky that day ... Ohh we also got all our floor & wall tiles Geeee at only $4 per square meter who wouldnt aye ... I did look at the granet and that started at around the $20 per meter mark georgouse and cheeper than ceramic tiles back here lol ... And the glass bricks that you can buy from Bunnings here for $6.50 @ in Bali they are $2 each so we got 180 . Whateven we dont use in the house we can just sell .

Ok iv rambled on enough for now hope this helps you out a little

Cheers Terry :-)
