Hi, got no sleep on the return leg, plane wasn't full either, I had a spare seat next to me, but just could not nod off.
After all the excitement of being on the inaugural Syd - Denpasar, the return Sunday night had none of the fun giveaways of the first flight (not that you'd expect them to continue like that of course). They did still take a polaroid of everyone on the way home again, so that was nice.
I heard lots of people complaining about the earpieces on the dvd-on-demand that only work on 1 ear and so they couldn't hear properly, so it wasn't just me who had a problem with it.
I transferred at Sydney this morning to a QANTAS domestic flight. They don't book your luggage through, had to clear customs in Sydney as usual, then got directed to a bus that transferred to QANTAS domestic (this was not a Jetstar bus, just regular Sydney airport). Unfortunately for me, the bus goes to T3 (where most QANTAS domestic depart). I was going to regional NSW, so needed T2 - and had to walk the difference. Given that I had a backpack with abt 10kg, a large handbag with 5kg and a 22kg suitcase (old one, wheels not working), this was a long walk! And then a 3 hour wait for my flight, but made it home eventually, and now looking forward to a good sleep. I was worried about check in luggage weight, and my hotel didn't have a scale so couldn't check beforehand. Suitcase 22kg, and no mention was made of it, and they allowed a large handbag and my backpack as carry on luggage, so very relieved with that.
I'll certainly be hoping Jetstar have some more of these good deals, would love to get back again.
Hope this made sense through my sleep deprived foggy brain.
